I was going to stuck with UVU like my plan has been and well if I'm not supposed to be there then figure that out when that happens haha. I don't have any worries about coming home and figuring out classes and stuff, kaitlyn said that she would be happy to help me too if needed or wanted. So after talking with Elder Trenum he is going to stay in Hawaii for a while before deciding if he's going to go to school so I am going to have to find something apartment wise and whatnot. Most of my friends that I would like to room with as well don't get home for a while after I do and won't be starting school until January semester too so I can't really find one with them for the moment. I think the best route would be to find something where I can be kinda thing.  I was actually talking...

From: ME! To: YOU! Date: Saturday, February 25, 2023 Subject: 100 days I woke up today and as I opened up my phone it says you are officially 100 days from being home! CRAZY! For us here at home your mission has flown by. I remember when I was sending Kaitlyn knowing that you would follow, I was certain that time would stop and it would feel like an eternity before I had all my kids on American soil and could talk to them whenever I wanted to or whenever they needed to. Then, Kaitlyn came home and her mission was like a blip in life and now you are at the spot where time is going to just zoom by and you will be home before we all know it. Such an exciting time and yet I am sure many feelings going on inside for you as well. What are some of your thoughts at this point and what are some of your goals as you round this corner to an end?  You have been on a mission now for 88 weeks! I am sitting here with my calendar open, getting stuff put on dates, and have some things I needed to talk to you about that I figured might just be easier if I send a bonus email that has some 'real life' stuff in it that I need your direction on. School... - Are you planning on college when you get home? - Where are you planning? - If it is UVU, the deadline to apply is August 1 so you will have to come home and get that all done & register for your classes (Kaitlyn did this too, worked out fine) - Are you still planning to room with other Elders you met there? Are they home and have a spot already? Do you know if they do if they have a spot saved for you? - Rooms are starting to pop up on a couple of pages I follow and the rent is about $500 (pretty normal) plus utilities. From: Christian.garcia@missionary.org Date: Monday, February 28, 2023 Subject: Hazy Dry Smog Bonjour tout le monde! Sorry for no email last week. We had a little activity and visited the rock hills here in Dassa. And had no time after haha. This week was busy and full of miracles but I am having a hard time remembering everything, so let's try and remember shall we? So 2 weeks ago we had an absolute amazing week where Dassa popped off. We were able to accomplish all of our goals for the week and I was so happy especially Sunday. We had the whole room filled and people were even having to chill in the back standing (mainly members and the missionaries). The Lord really prepares people and places for His work and I love that I am able to be apart of the building part here in Dassa.  So this past week we accomplished a lot of our goals as well. The "dry season" came back in full force this week so people were starting to get sick because it was really unexpected...

From: Mom! To: YOU! Date: Saturday, February 18, 2023 Subject: Looks like Spring Hey! How are you? How was your week? I LOVED getting your travel details! What a fun message to get. I don't know why they said they don't have an email from me though..that is weird because I have talked to the mission office a couple of times over these last couple of years. Weird! But it's all good. This week at home has been a bit of a whirlwind. Let's start with the weather for example. Today...nice and sun shiny. Not warm but the sun is out and bright. Driving in the car it is hot behind the glass and it is lovely. But...rumor has it that come Tuesday into Wednesday we are going to get hit with what they are saying will be the snow storms of all snow storms for the year. What the heck?! I am so sick of it already! And the weather is nice enough that the grass is starting to pop through and look like Spring. UGH! Valentines Day came and went...not a big deal. B's Birthday was fun a...

From: Mom Date: Sunday, February 12, 2023 Subject: Superbowl Sunday Good morning. How are you today? How was this week for you? How are things going? Did you love Zone Conference and being back with all the other missionaries? What did you guys focus on during that? Did you end up having interviews? Any news on new transfer dates and what that looks like for you coming home? So many questions but I am getting stuff written on my June and July calendars and so I want to be sure that I get it all accounted for with you coming home. This week here at home has been good. It has been full of wedding talk, prep for the Superbowl today and the food we are going to have, getting Brooklyn through another week of school even though is was only a 4 day week (Friday was a mental health day so no school....so dumb), and then getting her ready for her big birthday on Wednesday! As usual, B will stay home on her birthday but this year we will head to the DMV and she will take her driving...
