Subject: Hazy Dry Smog

Bonjour tout le monde! Sorry for no email last week. We had a little activity and visited the rock hills here in Dassa. And had no time after haha. This week was busy and full of miracles but I am having a hard time remembering everything, so let's try and remember shall we? 😂

So 2 weeks ago we had an absolute amazing week where Dassa popped off. We were able to accomplish all of our goals for the week and I was so happy especially Sunday. We had the whole room filled and people were even having to chill in the back standing (mainly members and the missionaries). The Lord really prepares people and places for His work and I love that I am able to be apart of the building part here in Dassa.

So this past week we accomplished a lot of our goals as well. The "dry season" came back in full force this week so people were starting to get sick because it was really unexpected. My companion hasn't been here with the full year if season changing yet so he wasn't too confused but when the weather changed I was like "where's the rain? Why is my skin dry again? Why can I breathe normally??" And then we found out and its been good sleeping since then.

With the dryness coming back it's been pretty hazy as well but that hasn't stopped us from going out and teaching people. We were packed most of this week with only one day that was kidna off. Wednesday or Thursday (I can't remember) we only had lessons in the afternoon and even then there was only 1 or 2 and so we spent the morning and the rest of the day out looking for people. It was weird to me because I have been used to recently just having the program full, but we were able to find some people and even a little family that speaks Ewe!!! So I got to "speak" that again for a little bit haha.

Another highlight for this week was Sunday again. The salle wasn't full this time around but there were progressing amis and nÊe members and that made my heart happy. Dassa may be small but there are people with big hearts and willing faith to go the distance and overcome the differences in their lives to be at church. We had a few amis miss it but they promised they would be there this next week, so we are going to try our absolute best to help them come and see the restored Church of Christ here on the Earth today.

That's pretty much all for thos week folks. Sorry that it's not like normal haha. Hopefully meet week will be better :) Thanks for tuning in to another email. I hope you all have a great week and also stay safe!! I've been told that there's a storm coming so make sure there's hot cocoa and marshmallows ready ;)

Catch ya next week!
