Subject: Superbowl Sunday
Good morning.
How are you today? How was this week for
you? How are things going? Did you love Zone Conference and being back
with all the other missionaries? What did you guys focus on during that?
Did you end up having interviews? Any news on new transfer dates and
what that looks like for you coming home? So many questions but I am
getting stuff written on my June and July calendars and so I want to be
sure that I get it all accounted for with you coming home.
This
week here at home has been good. It has been full of wedding talk, prep
for the Superbowl today and the food we are going to have, getting
Brooklyn through another week of school even though is was only a 4 day
week (Friday was a mental health day so no school....so dumb), and then
getting her ready for her big birthday on Wednesday!
As
usual, B will stay home on her birthday but this year we will head to
the DMV and she will take her driving permit test. She is hilarious. I
told her I had it scheduled and she immediately got nervous! She will do
just fine but it is funny how scared she all of a sudden got. She is
going to her tried and true pork chops and white shells for dinner and
then I ordered her a cake that is a Nike box with a Panda shoe on top.
She has no idea so that will be fun. I also have a couple of her friends
who I asked to sneak over and have cake and ice cream with us. I hope
that will work out. Kaitlyn and Eric will be up as well so hopefully she
will have the best day. I got her the shoes she wanted too and a couple
of new phone cases. It is weird to think she will be 15! Ugh...it is
that time thing coming back to get me.
Today is
Stake Conference at church annnnnnd we are going to pass on going.
There will be no announcement about any changes and I am just so done
with our ward that it is better if I stay away and do my own studying
and learning the best I can. It is so hard. Kaitlyn and Eric will be up
to watch the Superbowl with us and Kaitlyn has broken a couple of nails
that we need to repair too so that should be fun. I am going to do mini
sliders, some nacho cheese in a crockpot for nachos, some mini smokies
with bbq sauce, I have cookies and candies, soda, and well pretty much
all the good healthy stuff. Not so much!! Ha! That is what the Superbowl
is for right? Junk food and your favorite people around you.
This
next week is busy in that I have cookie orders to drop tomorrow,
Valentines Day on Tuesday, Brooklyn's birthday on Wednesday, a couple of
nail appointments on Thursday, Brooklyn doesn't have school again on
Friday but she has an appointment to have her hair extensions tightened,
and Saturday her and I are going to meet Kaitlyn to start some wedding
dress shopping. CRAZY! Sunday Tyler and I fly to Hawaii for the week
while Grandma comes here to stay with B. Somewhere in the middle of all
of that I need to find time to do regular things like grocery shop,
laundry, clean bathrooms, give the dogs a bath, DUST....the worst, and
figure out what I am going to need for our trip. The end of February is
going to go by so freaking fast!
We did go
and get Rodeo tickets for this year. I cannot believe that we had to go
already for that! But because we own a home in Oakley we got an early
ticket sales opportunity so we got the best tickets. Well I think so
anyways. And it will be so fun. Grandma and Cowboy are going to come up
one night and stay at the cabin with us. Kaitlyn and Eric will come up
for the weekend too and come with us. You will be home. It is going to
be such a great 4th of July weekend. I already cannot wait! Once the
Rodeo is done then it will be game on for Lake Powell gathering and
finishing up all things there to go for that week. I am going to need
both of these things after the crazy June we are looking to have. It is
all so so good though and I cannot wait!
Well...it
sounds like my laundry buzzer is going on so I need to go get things
swapped out. I cannot wait to hear from you and hear how this week has
gone for you. It was so fun to see your pictures on your drive. It looks
like you got to perform baptisms this week? And Elder Proffit looks so
grown up! His mission has turned him from a young boy to an incredible
man. You can just seei it. I love that so much!
Keep working hard and know that I love you one million. Have the BEST Sunday. I love you for forever,
Mom
