Subject: The Conferences

Bonjour bonjour!!! Apparently I really like sending emails out every 2 weeks, sorry about that haha. But hey! That just means theres going to be a lot of stuff rght??? We can hope, I'm definately going to have to bring out my thinking and remembering cap to write about these past few weeks haha.

Okay so like 2 weeks ago we had Zone Conference and taht was pretty awesome. It is always a good time to get together and to talk with all of the other missionaries in the Zone. The lessons were really focused on how it is that we can continue to do what it is that we are called and set apart to do as a missionary. It was really good and really encouragin or me to be apart of it because, sadly, time is going by wayyyyy too quickly and I'm not a big fan of it. For the rest of the week my companion and I had to take it a little bit slower. He had to get soe teeth pulled out so we were vibing at the apartment for hal a day and then went out but weren't able to go and do all of our rendez-vous because the sockets started to bleed again.

Last week we had our first Distrcit Council of the transfer!!! It is really werid for me to have 2 weeks of not that and then the rest of the time doing it. Togo, I feel, is so much better with that kind of stuff haha.  Anyways, so we did District Council and I thought that it went really well. We talked a lot about what it is that we are doing to apply what we learned in Zone Conference and how is it that we want to become better. Then another big thing was that Elder Coulibaly (my companion) had to get more teeth pulled out buuuut when we showed up the dentist wasn't there so we wasted like 3 hours of the day doing nothing for nothing. We weren't veryy happy about that haha. Saturday we played soccer in the morning, and when I say "we" I really mean that the Africans played soccer... I couldn't bust out my "parkour" skills on them because I wasn't alowed to play because I really can't play haha.

And then... General Conference!!!! It was so good to be able to listen to the voice of the prophet and the 12 Apostles and the other church leaders this past weekend. I highly recommend it if you have not. You can og to lds.org or go to the Gospel Library App and tap the Generl Conference section in the top right corner of the page right after Scriptures. Something that really stood out to me this conference was how much the word peace was used. President Eyring talked a lot about how without Christ we cannot truly find peace in this life. But something even cooler is that without our faith we cannot find peace. Faith is something that pushes us to do things for sure, it is 100% a principle of action but it is also a principle of blessings. Through our faith and what we do and believe with that faith we are able to recieve so many different kinds of blessing and especially godly sentiments. For example if you are feeling down there is comfort, if you are feeling anxious there is calm, and if you are in a massive storm as Christ said to the storm with His disciples "peace, be still."

Thank you all for reading this weeks email!!! This time is coming to an end but let's all finish strong right???

I love you all have a great week!!!
