Subject: Still winter
Hey! Happy Sunday. How are you? How has your week been? How was Zone
Conference and interviews? I was able to steal a couple of photos off
the Facebook that President Proudfoot posted. I always love extras like
that. :)
This week has been good. I feel like when we start back to school not on
a Monday the week always feels ‘off’ but we made it and I am glad it is
just one more week down. I think Brooklyn was good headed back. She
likes the social part for sure and she was also liking forward to
knowing that she is just about done with Spanish. It’s been the marker
ha! She is dropping that for seminary next semester and she can hardly
wait.
I had a couple of nail appointment and some cookies that needed to be
done. Kenna Scadden is getting married and needed ‘will you be my
bridesmaid/maid of honor’ cookies. Her colors are so bad that while I
was mixing them I just lost interest in getting them done. I don’t know,
I guess wedding colors should come together but these ones are just
bad. I hope for her in the end that they look good at least. Who knows?
Eric took Tyler and me to dinner this week to ask us permission to
propose to Kaitlyn. I knew it was coming and plans have already started
to be made when it comes to the actual planning of the day but it just
made it feel so real you know? I don’t know if she has mentioned
anything to your Dad so keep this between you and me please. He really
is a great guy and I am thrilled for Kaitlyn. I just am hating that you
guys keep growing up. And at a pace I am just so unhappy with!! :)
We played games with the Millers and Eric and Kaitlyn came up to last
night. Late nights are still not my thing but it is sure nice to have
some great friends to spend an evening with. And today we will go up to
Logan to get B. She has been up there since Friday hanging out with
Dalin and his friends. She is pretty ready to be back home though. Ha ha
ha.
We have a couple of things this week that will keep us busy. Tyler is
headed to the cabin to meet the refrigerator repair man to see if we can
fix what is broken or if we need to buy a new one. (So annoying!). I
have some nail appointments and a few things ‘adulting’ but plenty of
stuff to keep busy nonetheless. Training with Fendi which is always
tricky with a puppy so that also adds some ‘ugh’ for the week too. Snow
is due again mid week but hopefully the rain the next two days will melt
the amount we have accumulated this past week before pummeling us with
more. I can hope right?
Anyways, I hope you have had a good week and that this Sunday brought
some new ami’s to church with you. I hope all is well and that you have
been able to see the hand of the Lord in your hard work and efforts this
week too. I hope you have been able to feel of our love and support
from home too. I sure love you.
