**Reply to Mom's Email**

Well first things first... IM HEADED TO BENIN!!!! But things are doing super good. We had an amazing last week of the transfer and were able to meet some new people. We did run into a marriage problem with some of the younger progressing amis but hopefully that'll get fixed out soon. The lessons with Fr Lucien didn't go as planned with lots of people but hopefully next time for sure. Interviews were amazing! President and I talked about prayer and then a little bit about college for a hot second and then he kinda made me apprehensive haha. He told me that he had something in mind for me but he wasn't 100% sure so he was going to keep praying on it. Well come to find out on Friday when I called him, I am headed ti Benin to a sector called Dasa. It'll be me and my companion and LOTS of work! 

So a little that I know about my new sector. It is a group of about 8-10 people and there are only 2 missionnaires there. One companionship haha. It is supposed to be really beautiful and a little bit like Kpalimé. There is Voodoo for sure so that's going to be something interesting going up "against" when I get there haha. I am still a District leader and will have my district about 2 hours south of me haha. We do district councils in person too so that's going to be interesting for sure. Regarding who's in my district... its ELDER TRENUM!!! He's on his last transfer but when I found out which sectors were in the District I called him and I was like bro... and then he goes "I don't know what kind of prayer you said to get this to happen but it worked haha." It's going to be a great transfer. I am really looking forwardnto the work and having the opportunity to literally build a foundation of people for the church up there. We are also 4 hours away from the mission office... that's really farrrrr. 

And then pday this week. So because of Christmas and stuff with the MTC our transfer is on Monday this week and because I'm headed to Benin I have no idea if I am going to be able to talk to you in the afternoon my time and early morning for you. So I was thinking that because I have to be up early anyways that I could call you about 5:30 maybe 6 my time and if you're awake you could answer a call even if it is for a hot second? That's like 10:30/11pm your time. I know is a late night for you but its just an idea. If that works could you shoot me an email or a message on messenger so that way when I wake up I'll know?

It sounds like you guys had a very eventful week and that there's going to be more this week as well. I think it's funny that you're thinking of getting another dog too haha. But if it works? Right?? 

Thank you so much for youremail and updates this week. It was good to hesr kinda back home stuff. I am serisoulsy so excited for the next part of my mission too!! Irs sad that i only have 4 transfers left... they go by way too quickly for my liking.
