Subject: Good morning

Hey!

How are you today? How are things going? How was this past week? Were you able to locate any of the missing bikes? Are you still getting up and going running or was that just a one time thing? How were your rendezvous this week? Anything exciting come from them?

Things here have been good. We have had a busy week but a good week. Kaitlyn has been busy getting all of her stuff packed and she stayed the night in her new apartment last night. This has been so hard on my heart! I don't know...just knowing that this next stage of life is happening is hard for me. It's almost like she was too excited to get out. :) I know there are lots of friends and school and work and all but as a Mom, man this is hard. Don't tell her I told you this. I would hate for her to know.

Brooklyn had a good week at school too. She had a couple of tests and I loved the text I got after her math one... "Math test done and it was easy!" I love that she is trusting herself and that she is doing well. There was a medical emergency yesterday during the day that she was held in class for a bit longer while the 911 crew showed up and handled it in the hallway. It really shook her and she hated it. There wasn't much that anyone knows and the email from the school was very vague. Things like that are hard for her and I hate that she had to experience it.

The weather here has been typical October. Lots and lots of beautiful colors! The extra moisture we got all Summer has made for some really beautiful leaves. I think this next week will find us taking Teeter on some trails to take in the colors for sure.

I am thinking of going back and doing a nail refresher course and going to do nails here out of the house. I am needing something to do during the day pretty bad. I don't have anything to do with work anymore and I am really struggling with finding value in my person. I know how much we pay for B's nails to get done and there is no reason I can't be making the same money. I have reached out to a couple schools to find out how to get a refresher class done and hope to hear from them this first part of next week so I can get moving on it. I actually think it will be a lot of fun to be honest. I wish I had paid more attention during that portion of beauty school and had done them from the get go. All things looking back at what I wish I had...I hate moments like that!

Anyways, today maybe we will go get pumpkins and what not for the front yard. Maybe I will just watch the wild card series for MLB. Brooklyn wants to maybe go shopping with Kynlee but who knows. This is all more reason why I need to find something to do to feel productive at the end of days you know? :)
