Bonjour tout le monde! Comment allez-vous? (That means "how are you?") Now you know so that you can respond this week haha.

This week was interesting with the wether again. There were days when I would wake up and it would be cold but then as soon as I stepped outside I was instantly sweating. Then there were days when I could be really hot in the apartment but outside was just chilly. Or then it would rain for no reason cutting off all of our lessons, and then it would be cold but really sticky humid. The weather here is just... interesting nowadays haha.

We started off this week going to Zone Conference and I have the best mission president so that was amazing. We talked about the power of prayer and how we can learn to pray more like Enos in the Book of Mormon. Then we had a really good lesson with the STL's when they talked about how we can integrate our friends with the church. We talked with the assistants about how we can plan speifically with everything so that when presented with a case with an ami we can adapt accordingly. I felt on a spiritual high to say the least.

Throughout the rest of the week the weather was up and down and didn't have something specific for us so we were vibing with rain and wind and heat and sweat. But regardless all of that we were able to see the miracles of the Lord in the work. We called to contact some people's numbers that we have in our phone that we didn't know and we fixed a lesson with them and they actually went through! We even had some come to church as well. But the biggest miracle had to be on Saturday evening. My companion and I were headed back from a lesson with one of our amis that we had found earlier in the week and I felt like we had the time to take another route, that we normally didn't take, to get back to the apartment. While we were on this dirt road there was a guy standing off to the side that looked like he was walking towards the road so I slowed down just in case so I didn't hit him. When we passed I felt like I recognized him but I couldn't say from where until he said "Kikwati?" I had worked with Elder Kikwati back in November so I was thrown a little off-guard but then he said my name so Elder Kamata and I went to go and talk to him. It turns out that an ami that I had taught in Adakpame, who had moved and we lost him, had moved to Sanguera! And the Lord helped me find him again!!!

Being in this same sector for as long as I have has felt like I am just doing the same thing all day long day-in and day-out, but because of the miracles that I saw this week I know that the Lord is mindful of me and where I am in my life and He places me where it is that I am needed to be. If I hadn't been here maybe the missionaries wouldn't have found Fr. Patience, or maybe they would have. Regardless, I know that the Lord knows each one of us specifically and by name. If we turn to Him he will guide us to where we need to be. I invite us all to continue to turn to our Heavenly Father and His son so they will guide us to where is is that we are needed.

Thanks for reading this weeks email y'all. I hope that you enjoyed it! I hope that y'all have a great week too!!!

A bientôt avec amour,
Elder Garcia
