Week 57 Email: Late...oops

Subject: Late...oops

Bonjour tout le monde. Ou bonsoir dépendent ou vous êtes maintenant   how is everyone this week! Sorry this email is so late! We deeeeep cleaned today and so I haven't had the most time. Here's some highlights...

- We had some amazing member lessons

-I ate some porridge and benigets this week from members and they were delicious

- I got to do some baptismal interviews... and those are always some of my favorite things

- we got to DEEP clean the apartment so it is 100% propre rn (it smells so good y'all)

This week my companion had to get 2 teeth pulled at the dentist so we weren't able to go out to sector a whole lot but I did do lots of study. And I found some scriptures in Mosiah 5 that I wanted to share with everyone. The verses are 7 & 8...

7 And now, because of the covenant which ye have made ye shall be called the children of Christ, his sons, and his daughters; for behold, this day he hath spiritually begotten you; for ye say that your hearts are changed through faith on his name; therefore, ye are born of him and have become his sons and his daughters.

   8 And under this head ye are made free, and there is no other head whereby ye can be made free. There is no other name given whereby salvation cometh; therefore, I would that ye should take upon you the name of Christ, all you that have entered into the covenant with God that ye should be obedient unto the end of your lives

When we are baptised we make Covenants with our Father in Heaven and when we do that we are spiritually "gotten" by our Father.  And by doing this we are also made free! We are free from the bandage of the world if we stay faithful and endure to the end. King Benjamin here invited us all to take upon us the name of Christ and to enter into this covenant and to always be obedient until the end of our lives. I invite us all that have made this covenant to continue to turn to our Father and to follow the example of His Son. I also invite those that have not yet to reach out to the missionaries or even to me! They have an amazing message that I know will change your lives!
