Subject: Transfer news

Bonjour mes amis et ma famille!! J'espère que vous allez très bien et aussi que vos semaines ont passé bein. Joyeux Indépendance! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

Yeah so this week was an interesting last week to the transfer. I loved it so let's get into it and I'll let y'all read haha.

So this week started off with a nice little goodbye to the district bc we all knew that people would be getting changed and everything. We had a great last training on how to always be united with your companion no matter who they may be.

We went a few days with some craziness because we were supposed to have some baptismal interviews but then they got canceled and rescheduled so we had to rearrage our schedule but thankfully everyone was okay with that. We got one of our amis to have her interview and the other one we don't know where her new house is so it's a little challenging to talk to her, especially bc she doesn't have a phone but all in due time will we know.

And speaking of baptismal interviews we had an ami this past week enter into the first covenant with our Father in Heaven and it was very special for us and the ami and the members too. It's been a whole since the last time they had a baptism in Sanguéra at the branch building so it was touching. Lots of people came and cleaned it and showed up and everything. It was really nice to say the least.

Tomorrow is transfers and I'm getting a new companion whole Elder Mulamingu goes and works with my mission grandpa Elder Berrett in Tabligbo. It's sad to see him go but I know that the Lord and the people there need his help. I'm also excited to still be here in Sanguéra and have the ability to work woth Elder Ipatutele!!

This past week I have focused my personal studies on Faith a lot. Faith isn't just soe.thing that we have or that we get by the Holy Spirit but it is something living and growing. In order to grow our faith thigh, we have to act. Even by the little things. Prayer, scripture study, asking questions, coming to church, etc. Faith is our building block foundation. Without it we don't have anywhere to build up anything else. It's like we read in Heleman 5:12 to build our foundations on Christ. We do that by having faith in Him and His gospel and His teachings. There is so much that we can do just by acting on our faith for our Savior and I invite us all to act on our faith this week and to find a way to add to our spiritual foundation. Just like our beloved Prophet Presodnet Russel M. Nelson taught in conference, "The Lord has declared that despite today’s unprecedented challenges, those who build their foundations upon Jesus Christ, and have learned how to draw upon His power, need not succumb to the unique anxieties of this era." By strengthing our spiritual foundation we are preparing our lives to fight though all of our trials. And that begins with Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanks for reading another email this week! Sorry I don't have any pictures today :( hopefully next week!!

Beaucoup d'amour,
Elder Garcia
