Phone Call: Monday, July 18, 2022

Well...the no call for today falls on me because I was in the middle of Lake Powell and without service. Thankfully Elder Garcia understood and gave me a break. :) 

Lake Powell this year was good. We had our own houseboat and put the people we wanted on it. We had the Miller family, Ben and Shannon Barker and their kids (they are friends with the Millers), Darin and Keri Pugmire (Tyler's cousin and his wife and family), Clint and Alisha Holindrake (Tyler's friend and their kids), Banning and Addie, Brylee, and little Banning (it was AWESOME without Jaime and Savannah!), and us. Everyone helped out and the kids all had a blast. I think overall we will call this year a win. We learned a lot and we will make changes moving forward but for now I think we will all agree that it was nice to escape and to get away and now we can start planning for next year.

This time next year we may have a married kiddo and Elder Garcia will be home to join us as well. I am already looking forward to that.
