Subject: Sunday
I am not sure how it is already Sunday! But…here we are and here it is
nonetheless. How are you? How has your week gone? We’re you able to try
and focus on your companion a little differently this week? And if so,
were you able to see or feel a change? Even if it was just a small one?
Today is Chayse Vickers farewell and the chapel is full. It is exciting
for him. Bryce Larsen also got his call this last week to Ohio. I am
happy to hear they are all headed out. I think it will be good. His
farewell was good. Even Ty spoke and all of them were up there teary
eyed and bawling.
This week was full here at home. B had her final 3 days of volleyball
gym. Tryouts are tomorrow and she is not overly thrilled to be made to
be trying out. I just wish she had some more self confidence. It’s
tricky. We have also been working on getting her online gym all done
because she has her test this Wednesday that she has to go take. It’s
been a lot of stuff for her. We also registered her for school this week
too. It’s going to get real again soon.
Kaitlyn has been workin through emotions and the after math of sending a
Dear John to Brittan. He started out handling it well but by the end of
the day he has removed us all from his email list and got a little
crappy towards her. It’s been hard to watch but I truly believe she made
the right choice. This allows her to live life and not feel like she is
being held back or even wondering what if for the next 5 months or so.
She seems at peace and I am glad for that.
Tyler and I are going to head to New York this week to watch the Braves
play the Mets. Should be a fun series. We are 3 games back is all from
them but sitting in 2nd place with them makes me nuts. I hope we go and
take a couple games. Should be fun and we haven’t been to that park yet
so another fun part of going. After we get back it will be back to
school shopping and gearing up for that. I am hopeful that we also might
have volleyball practice too? I think she has a good chance to make the
team if she will just go out and give it her all. I guess we will see.
Anyways, I am really hoping you were able to implement a challenge I
tossed out this week and hope things have been a little better for you
and your companion this last week. I love you. I will talk to you soon.
