Subject: Zone Conference and Learning

Salut mes amis et ma famille!! J'espère que vous portez très bien cette semaine!! Okay so this week I am hoping that I have some.more to share plus some pictures haha! Let's hop right into it shall we...

• We had Zone Conference on Tuesday and I seriously love President Proudfoot and Sœur Proudfoot! I know I say it everything but they are seriously the best. We had amazing lessons concerning the Doctrine of Christ, more on that later haha.

• Because of Zone Conference I got to say hey to all the people that have made my mission amazing up to this point (minus a few who are either in Benin or are now finished with thier mission)

• This week we found our schedule packed but sadly when it's like that people drop... but they do that anyways and always ask for another day so it was a lot of switching around this week haha

• This week we had some follow-up lessons with 2 guys that are named Emmanuel. But they live in different spots and dint know each other haha. They're great people and are wanting to learn. But they are still having some trouble with church attendance and the importance of that so if you keep them in your prayers I would forever be grateful

• We talked with lots of people this week and have some strong candidates for the 25th of June for a baptism!! I haven't had a baptism here in Sanguera at the branch building so that's going to be exciting to see

• This week we didn't have as ma y people come to church but at the same time that didn't matter a whole lot because we had 2 people that I have never seen come!!! It was definitely a miracle and we owe it all to the members for thier help. I seriously love these people here

This past week I had the great opportunity to finish the first book in the Saints. If you don't know what those books are they're a history of the church from the beginning up until 1955. So far it's a trilogy and I've only done ⅓ but they are so great and invite you all to go and read them. But one of the biggest parts that stood out to me thus week was when Jospeh and his brother Hyrum were killed and became martyrs. As I was listening and following along I couldn't help but feel sadness for those 2 brothers. And thier families. Jospeh Smith was persecuted time and time again because the world didn't want to accept the truth. But he still went ahead and did what he knew was right. And because of that today we have the true church of Christ upon the earth today. In the same way Christ established his church when He was here upon the earth. After reading that book I went and grabbed my scriptures and opened up to section 135 of the Doctrine and Covenants. The 3rd verse is an amazing testimony concerning the prophet. My heart was softened and I know for a fact that Jospeh Smith was a prophet of the Lord. That he did the work that the Lord assigned him until the day of his death. He was an instrument in the hands of the Almighty in bring forth this great and marvelous work. I am so grateful to him and to the Lord and for this opportunity to now be sharing this truth with the people of Togo. I invite us all to open our hearts to the truth and to let God's Spirit feel us up.

Thank you all for reading another email! I don't feel like this one was too long vut if it was sorry about that haha. Hopefully you got something out of it. I seriously love all y'all!! And all your emails as well. Keep 'em coming for sure! I do get around I promise haha.

Until next week!
