**Reply to Mom's Email**
I'm doing really good this week actually. Feeling wise is great, I'm not
feeling sick and I've found that if I get an upset stomach that working
out for 10 minutes more gets my metabolism moving better than before so
then I don't feel sick haha. I have also been sleeping decently well. I
haven't been waking up as much and I've used my sheets a couple of
times this past week, mainly because of the mosquitos but sometimes
because it was a little chilly and comfortable. We had Zone Cinference
this past week and those are always one of my most favorite things. With
that we got new phones so the 4 cameras are better than what we had
haha. And it works smoother and faster too so I'm not as annoyed anymore
with it. Still hate the stupid thing and that we use them as much as we
do to talk to people but it's also a blessing because without them we
wouldn't be able to make sure people remember we're coming by. But Zone
Conference was awesome, we talked a lot about teaching the doctrine of
Christ not just talking about it. But really teaching it. We broke it
down into each principle too and that made my brain hurt a little but
it's so worth it. I also finished the first Saints book this past week
and that was cool. Getting to the death of Jospeh Smith made me
emotional a little and I definitely felt the truth of the words in the
section 135 of D&C. He is a true prophet of God, I do not physically
or mentally understand how anyone could deny that. Ever. Especially
after learning of his life and his experiences.
Elder
Mulamingu and I are doing really well. He was a little mad at everyone
in the apartment this week because we were all doing something to help
the Apedokoe sector and none of us heard him so he thought we ignored
him. It got all settled and worked out but other than that we're doing
great! I learn something new everyday.
This week
we were able to find a new family who is close to the church. They're
100% catholic but they said they are open to listen. We got stood up the
first time but we have a new rendez-vous on Wednesday so I'm hoping
that goes through well. We also got one of our amis husband's ro come to
church today... actually it was the ward but apparently he has NEVER
come to church so that was cool. That and another ami who I've never
seen come to church but has been getting lessons for 3 months came too!!
It was awesome. Blessings come, they just take time ya know?
Glad
to hear that your weather was good this week too and that you were able
to enjoy it. I'm glad she likes that. I seriously never would have
thought that she would do a sport for high-school and she would kinda be
like Kaitlyn and just be there for the fun stuff haha. But it's good
and if I remember correctly it's Coach Nicholson who's the coach. I like
him a lot, he actually helped me with sprints starts my jr. year before
I broke my arms and COVID happened. He was my volleyball coach for the
class too.
Busy always
is better than sitting at home. I seriously don't know how I did it as
often as I did... I will not be able to do that anymore though that's
for sure. Being busy just makes life more enjoyable and more fun. Even
if it is doing work like mowing a lawn or plucking weeds or anything
like that.
Finally
getting released from a massive calling huh? Now you can kinda just sit
and cill in church hopefully?? Maybe now it won't feel like such a pain
to go to church too. It's interesting here to look at that kinda stuff
with callings, a lot of the time people will get callings because
there's nobody else to get them or because there's someone who's
becoming less-active so they hope that a calling will motivate them to
come back to church. I guess it can be the same said from back home.but
not at the same time. Sometimes it's because things need to get done
haha.
Dog training...
yeah that doesn't sound like the most fun but it is cool that you can do
it at the house. Weird that it's through zoom I bet but at the same
time I feel like you doing it will be more beneficial than someone else
who will leave as is at the end of the day. What will happen if Tyler is
allergic to her? If I remember correctly there was a problem like that
in the Magna house with B and a dog. I don't remember her name but I
remember she was black. I think we kept her for a while but she was also
really rowdy and didn't like to listen. And maybe I'm hallucinating and
am mixing things together. I'm not sure haha.
Moab
sounds like fun. Is it going to be you guys going by yourselves or are
there other families joining you? Either way it seems like it's going to
be a blast. And maybe you don't do the Instagram thing. Let B do it.
She knows the apps ins and outs. Or maybe have Kaitlyn do it when she
gets home, I feel like she used it a lot before. Or maybe when have
Tyler do it haha. It was his idea after all.
He
only had like 2 months left too. That's so sad. I would beat myself up
so much but it's good to hear that he's kinda accepted it and it now
moving forward. And yeah a sorta domino effect. Him, Kaitlyn and then
Brittan. This year will be kinda packed with people coming home. Crazy
that people are already coming home because it feels like they left just
a couple months ago. But then again Elder Simon told me that our summit
for the mission is coming up so that's weird. But I don't want to look
at it like I'm at the top of a mountain. Maybe a ridge in the big
mountain of life. That way I'm still going up ya know?
It's
always great to hear from you and always nice to get little updates
like that. I've got some friends doing that for thier lives like Olympia
and Alyssa but they kinda just make me a little jealous especially
because they were in Disneyland a few weeks ago together. I kinda wanna
go back now haha. Yeah anyways. I love you mom and I'll talk to you
later♡
