Hey! How are you? How was this week? Did you have exchanges? What
is new with your area and the Elders in your District? How are you
feeling about the work of a missionary as this week comes to an end? Do
you have ami's planned to be at church tomorrow? Overall, did you get a
chance to feel the hand of the Lord in all things? Were you open and
receptive to Him leading you to where He needs you to be?
This
week for us was busy but it kept things moving along which is good.
Brooklyn had volleyball again Monday-Wednesday. She is really loving it
and I think actually misses it when she isn't there. I love that. This
week she goes two hours for vollelyball and then an hour and a half
being in the weight room. I am certain she will see fabulous results
real quick with how little body fat exists on her person. Volleyball
starts at 9am this week so she won't get to sleep in like she has been
but it will be good for her.
We had
another training session with Teeter and she is doing really well. These
next few sessions intimidate me because they are more in depth and
advanced but I am hopeful. The trainer has been really great and I love
that if I have any questions, I jump on the app and someone gets right
back to me. I don't have to wait for our next session which is really
great. She also had her first experience in the haircut van in the
driveway. She cried a lot but she survived and got her nails trimmed and
got a bath. The good thing with the breed is they don't need haircuts
very often, if ever so mostly just a visit to get ears cleaned and nails
trimmed. She will like it just fine by the next time I am sure. Just
getting comfortable with all these new people you know?
We
are in Oakley for the weekend. It is cold here again and the
wind...holy cow the wind. It is nice though to get away. I feel bad that
Tyler didn't want to be home to do something with his kids but then I
hear him talk about just doing breakfast with Layla yesterday for her
birthday and I don't blame him for not wanting to do anything with them.
They are so rotten to him. I feel bad for him really. I still feel like
for Fathers Day they should put in some sort of effort. But whatever. I
am tired of trying to make sense of what they are like with him and why
he continues to allow it. :/
Other than that,
this week has been just regular life stuff. Nothing too exciting really.
I hope you have had a good one and that you have made good progress
with your ami's and have found some new ones along the way. I pray you
are happy and that all is well. I love you.
