Hey mom! This week has been good! I feel like this past week and this week to come will be a very learning kind of week haha. This last week I gave my first baptismal interview and that was really cool. I gave the opening prayer, just simple asking for the Spirit, and during the interview all I felt was calming and reassuring feelings. It was like I knew what to say to help without even having to think about it. I also understood everything the ami said perfectly. It was a really good testimony strengthener for me to feel that way. I was nervous going in that maybe I wouldn't do it right or maybe I would somehow mess it up and not understand and a whole bunch of other ways but that wasn't the case haha.

The meeting was great! It got changed so it was for all missionaries of the Tokion Stake and we all got to talk together how we could work better with our wards/branches. It turned around towards the end when we all got chastised by the second counselor in the mission presidency for "not working hard enough" and "being lazy." We were all like "ummmm... what" and then the Zone Leaders sent out a text to the Zone and said that we did a really great job up to this point and to keep our efforts going. It was very interesting to say the least haha. But we talked with out leaders and I am hoping that this next week as an experiment week will turn out to be something good.

As for amis this week we only found 6 new ones but had 17 at church today!!! It was pretty great. Especially because there were two ladies that came that we haven't even taught yet, just contacted on the street. We also got asked by 2 people when they could get baptised so we put together a bunch of lesson plans for these next few weeks so that they could get baptised as soon as possible. Which is the 21 of the month. If they're ready that is. We're going to watch their progression and decode as a companionship what we think.

She's definitely athletic for sure so I'm sure she's going to do great with volleyball. It's cool to see that she's doing pretty good with it even after jsut a little bit. I kinda miss sports and running with my friends but the mission is a lot better haha. Minus the weirdly decent tasting food.

Technology is stupid and I don't understand why I was so reliable on it when I was still home. Yes it's great for some things but there's definately not a need to be glued to it ya know?

Tyler always thinks ahead and I feel like that always saves lots of many and time haha. He's the one that taught me to work smarter not harder so it's great.

Thanks for letting me choose you and for always being there when I've needed you. I didn't always listen but yet you still taught me the hard lessons by letting me be dumb. I am always going to be grateful for everything you've done for me and everything that you continue to do for me. I definitely wouldn't be who I am if it wasn't for you. Thanks for always being my.number 1 cheerleader and number one friend in everything. I love you lots mom! And I hope that today will be great for you! You most definitely deserve it!!

I love you lots mom!!

Love,
Elder Garcia
