Subject: Rainy again here

Well, we had 90 + degrees for one day this week and today we are a high of 61 with so much rain. I am certain it will be snowing by the time we get to the cabin this evening. :/ The weather is so unsure of itself right now and I don't know even how to feel.

How has your week been? How have things been progressing all around?

Here we are into another week and so glad to see it done. Tyler has been working hard on the driveway to get it sealed, B got through her last full week of school, she is officially done with daily accutane, and got her wisdom teeth out yesterday. She did really well and her recovery so far has been good. She is only slightly swollen but she is sore. She had a hard time waking up and does not remember much of anything which I am sure grateful for.

I had a conversation with Rodney and basically told him it was time for me to be done in my calling. The stress and anxiety that I carry already is enough and this calling was drowning me beyond saving. He showed up Monday evening and we were able to talk and I think he gets it. I have had a big calling for the last 6.5 years and I am just spent. Plus when you do your all and get judged right to your face by some...just isn't worth it anymore. The frustrations of even being around people let alone serve them? No thanks. So, it will be interesting to say the least on who they put into this calling. Time will tell.

Kaden Cloward has decided he wants to give his homecoming talk in our ward so he will be doing that on July 24 (what a dumb day to pick with the holiday but whatever). Chayse Vickers will give his farewell talk on the 31st and Kaitlyn is scheduled to give her homecoming talk on July 10 I believe. It is all happening so fast!

I am sure you have heard by now that there was another horrific school shooting. This time in Texas. A school that has 2, 3, and 4th graders. The 18 year old killed 19 students in one classroom and 2 teachers. He shot his grandma in the face before he headed to the school. It has been absolutely disgusting to see all of it come to light. I am just sick for all involved and those of us who are trying to process just what in the heck. Our world needs the Savior to arrive and we have no time to wait. This is a messy messy world. There have been other deaths around here locally that just add to the crazy factor of life. I find most days not even turning on the television or looking at the news on my phone. It is never good anymore. I miss the days when it used to be.

Anyways, no news really around here. Looking forward to relaxing as much as we can in Oakley while also getting sandbags filled because the river is raging and full! Hoping to get B back on her feet and her face unswollen so she isn't' worried about that. Looking forward to end of the school year next week and Summertime actually happening. Now if we can get the weather to cooperate right?  I hope your week has been good and that you can see the hand of the Lord in your life as He directs you to those who are searching and longing for the meet up. I pray that you are happy and that you are thriving in all things. I hope your apartment and all of the Elders there with you are well and happy as well.
