Phone Call Home: Monday, December 27, 2021

It was another early Monday morning in order to be able to steal a few minutes of time from our Elder in Africa. :) We didn't have much really to talk about because we literally just talked 2 days ago but some of the highlights of our call are:

- Elder Garcia hasn't thought much on the goals he is hoping to work on for the New Year that is around the corner from us so he promised he would put some time and thought into that.
- Elder Garcia said that he for sure wants to learn how to play the guitar when he gets home
- Elder Garcia is feeling better. He sounded so much better today than even just 2 days ago when we talked on Christmas. I am so grateful for this!
- He has Frere Stanley super excited about his upcoming baptism. He says that it is kind of weird to have him on date only because he worked with him the first time he was in Kpalime. I love that he will be able to see him baptized!

Elder Garcia continues to work hard and continues to find those that the Lord needs him to find. He is working with those in the area to find members who have quit coming or perhaps maybe feel like someone has forgotten about them. 

I am excited for another week to come through and to see the good that can come if Elder Garcia continues to go to work each day. I love being able to see his face on Mondays and I love that I can see his smile.
