Lome is so freaking hot all the time. It's fine though because you get
used to it pretty quickly. My new area is actually 2 areas combined but
even combined Kpalime is still the bigger one. I get to walk too so it's
safe to say that I like this area haha. The sectores are called Anfame
and Adakpame (I can help with how to say them when we call). They are
both wards and we visit both wards every Sunday so it's a bit of a
runaround. As for my companion, he's awesome. He technically started
around the same time as I did but since he already spoke French it was 3
weeks in MTC for him. His name is Elder Kikwati (Keek-watch-e) and he's
from Congo kingsasha (I don't know how to spell it). When it comes to
missionary work he is 100% awesome. He told me that I am going to start
of the lessons and go through them completely so I can learn more French
and then he will answer questions. I have learned a lot this past week
haha. He likes to cook too so we bought groceries and he has been
cooking for us. He like foufou congolais (it's basically the dough stuff
in tamales). It's pretty good but so dense too that you don't feel
hungry for days. And you have to drink constipation stuff at night so it
works through your body.
