Subject: Happy Thanksgiving

Hey! I know Africa doesn’t do Thanksgiving like we do at home but they sure doesn’t stop me from celebrating with you on my mind.

This year looks super different with just 3 of us that will be around our dinner table but if I am being honest, I wouldn’t have it any other way. The experiences that are taking place each day in your life continues to give me reasons to be grateful for you on a level that I never saw. You continue day in and day out to prove to not just yourself but to the rest of us that all of us can do exceptionally hard things. I love every second of my life that I am blessed to be your Mom.

I am so grateful for you and for the place you hold in our family. I am grateful for your smile and your personality that make you uniquely you. I am so proud of you and the spot you are in this very instance. Thanks for your example and for allowing us all a piece of this with you. I love you for forever and for always. Happy Thanksgiving to you from all of us here at home.

Week 31 Email: A Circle?!?

I'm doing great and this week was definitely a week that came and went.  Tuesday we had our final District Council of the transfer and that was actually pretty good. We got to talk about what we could do this transfer to become better disciples of Christ. For our lessons we kinda got stood up again, I'm not sure why we kept trying with these 2 people because it's been 6 weeks but we had a good feeling. Turns out we were wrong but that's okay. Ya live and ya learn. We did end up having a pretty great lessons with a family though and I seriously loved it. This family is why I live Kpalime as much as I do. They are so interested and understanding and they ask the most amazing questions.  Wednesday was just a lot of contacting. His day in the temple

Covid is still placing restrictions on some things around here and the temple is still one of them. That didn't stop us from having a special day with Christian as he took out his own endowment. He chose to go through the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. Mainly because you can only go through the temple that is assigned to your ward currently but also because I think he is most comfortable there. Christian chose Tyler to be his escort and had invited both Grandma and Gary to join us as well. Gary was under the weather or had some sort of doctor appointment and so he was unable to be there but Grandma was and it was good to spend the couple of hours with her.  Christian didn't have many questions going into today and as always, I will be here with open ears to discuss anything perhaps now that he has had this experience.
