Salut à tous! Comment vas-tu?

So yeah that sums up my week pretty well, my companion loves the bible and whenever he gets the chance in breakout rooms the other elders and I get to listen to a sermon so that's pretty epic. This week I had my first TRC/Helping Others lesson, for those that don't know you sign up to teach a random member of the church for practice for the real world, and I would say that it went better than Iexpected it to. I did learn that in order to connect the bible is one thing that I need to be studying more though.
We started language classes this week!! Frere Hable got us a schedule and we were able to dive into the basic core of French and let me tell ya, it's nothing like sitting in Madame Bergstroms 8th grade French class. Frere Hable really knows what he's talking about so that makes me excited for these next couple weeks of learning. Other than that online MTC is still online MTC, I wish that computers could teleport you to wherever your video screen was, that would be spic then I'd get to meet all of the awesome elders in my district.

Here's a quick thought for ya:
We were reading from the talk The Book of Mormon: What Would Your Life Be Like Without It?, By President Nelson. And the one thing that really stood out to me was the story in the beginning where President Nelson is visiting Accra, Gahana and he meets the king. As they get to talking he mentions Jesus Christ, the king said that he wants to know what President Nelson believes about Jesus Christ. President Nelson then turns to the mission president that was accompanying him and asks for a Book of Mormon, the mission president opens his bag and gives one to him. He then turns to 3 Nephi Chapter 11 and he explains the Savior's sermon to the Nephites. Then what I think is the coolest thing ever happened, the king took the Book of Mormon when he was offered it and proceeded to say to President Nelson, "You could have given me diamonds or rubies, but nothing is more precious to me than this additional knowledge about the Lord Jesus Christ.” This knowledge that the king got about our Savior Jesus Christ was the most precious thing to him. So I ask the question that my teacher asked me, "Would you take a Book of Mormon over diamonds or rubies?" I invite you all to ponder on that

Until next week this is Elder Garcia signing off.
Passe une Semaine incroyable!!

Beaucoup D'amour
Elder Garcia
